BIOGRAPHY
STATEMENT

Born in 1996, Voronezh. Has designed multiple theatre productions as a set and costume designer, including within the art collective STARUHA 2.0. In 2022 served as Program Director of Theatre of Open Competencies, a theatrical art laboratory supported by the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center, the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, and the Moscow Art Theatre School. Winner of the curatorial grant competition of the Moscow School of Contemporary Art and the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art; nominee for the 6th Moscow Art Prize in Fine Arts and Architecture.
Co-founder and Art Director of the curatorial bureau ACCURATE. Creator at the international multimedia company SILA SVETA. Professional interests include scenography, exhibition development, cultural studies, and arts education. Based in Moscow.
I work at the intersection of curatorship and scenography. For me, an exhibition is simultaneously a conceptual, visual, and spatial statement. In my curatorial practice, I am interested not only in structuring a display but in creating an environment in which the nature of the material and the artist’s voice can unfold, and in which meaningful artistic and educational engagement with the audience can take shape. I approach the exhibition as both an event and a narrative, where every element becomes a conduit that allows the viewer to enter a carefully constructed semantic landscape.
My professional interests span naïve art, new media, digital storytelling, museum exhibition development, exhibition design, and scenography. Working with dramaturgy, format, light, scale, and spatial rhythm enables me to craft expressive solutions in which the curatorial idea becomes embodied and tangible. I believe in the power of exhibition language as an independent mode of thinking — and I seek forms in which it can remain vivid, tactile, and alive.
